  • Samsung has decided to pause the One UI 4 rollout for its Galaxy phones in South Korea.
  • A community forum post indicates the UI skin is having some “compatibility issues with the Google Play system” on some devices.
  • There’s no word on when the rollout will begin again.

Samsung isn’t having much luck updating its Galaxy lineup of phones to the new One UI 4 skin based on Android 12. Today, a post on South Korea’s Samsung community forums (via TizenHelp) indicates that the One UI 4 rollout has been paused in Korea for the time being.

According to the post, some Galaxy devices that received the One UI 4 update had experienced “compatibility issues with the Google Play system.” In response, Samsung paused the update rollout. As of right now, there’s no word as to when it might begin again. Android Authority has reached out to Samsung for comment on the issue.
