  • Samsung has launched the Galaxy F23 in India.
  • The phone will offer four years of security patches and two years of OS updates.
  • The F23 will retail for under $250 in India.

Samsung launched its first F series smartphones back in 2020, being budget devices in India with a focus on big batteries and good cameras for the price. Now, the company has launched the Galaxy F23 in the market, and it’s looking like a standout offering.

One of the Galaxy F23’s main selling points might just be the update pledge. You’re still getting the standard two years of OS updates here, but Samsung is also pledging to deliver four years of security patches. This is pretty rare for the price point, it must be said.
