One of the weirdest phone-related phenomena has to be phantom vibrations, as people mistakenly think their phone is vibrating when it actually isn’t. It isn’t limited to smartphones either, as this has been around long before modern smartphones were a thing.

This got us thinking about whether Android Authority readers have had phantom vibrations before. So let us know by taking the poll embedded below.

I’ve definitely felt vibrations before and reached into my pocket, only to discover that there wasn’t a notification, call, or text message waiting for me. Then again, I’ve also missed calls when my phone was set to vibrate and in my pocket, so maybe I’m not the best example.

It’s unclear what causes this phenomenon, but we’d definitely like to know how many Android Authority readers have had it happen to them. So cast your vote and leave a comment below if you have more to say.
