We had a barrage of new movie trailers and TV teasers to watch this week. Streaming services are introducing us to their big upcoming summer titles and there’s a lot of entertainment to anticipate.

Today’s trailer roundup includes fresh clips for a couple of horror titles coming to Netflix. We also saw new footage of Marvel’s Loki ahead of its June release on Disney Plus. The famous Friends reunion finally got a full-fledged trailer and so did Steven Soderbergh’s star-studded HBO Max title.

The best new movie trailers and TV show teasers for upcoming streaming titles

A Classic Horror Story

Netflix teased its upcoming Italian horror film in a short and sweet teaser this week. The plot of the title will revolve around five strangers that share a journey aboard a camper. After an accident, they find themselves in a forest populated by strange beings from which it is impossible to get out. The minute-long teaser doesn’t give us much, but we do see a man screaming for dear life with an eye-piercing contraption inches away from bursting his pupils. Yeah, this might be one for fans of gore.

Fear Street Trilogy

Netflix has cooked up a trio of films based on R.L Stine’s Fear Steet novels. All of them are releasing this July with a gap of one week between each film. Reminiscent of the Scream franchise from the 90s, the Fear Street movies are also set in the same time period. The trailer shows a young girl answering a creepy phone call. When she hangs up, a masked slasher rips into her stomach. Classic horror stuff. Netflix describes the trilogy as a story of a group of teenagers who discover that the terrifying events haunting their town for generations may all be connected and that they are the next targets.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness

We got quite a detailed new trailer for Netflix’s Resident Evil animated series this week. The fresh clip shows the two lead characters from the game, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, dealing with a zombie outbreak at the White House. In the process, they also seem to be uncovering a political conspiracy, only to be shut down by the US government.

Sweet Tooth

The full trailer for Netflix’s post-apocalyptic fairytale tale is here. Sweet Tooth’s new footage shows us how hybrids — children who are part animal, part human — came to be born. Humans destroyed the Earth, nature fought back, everyone got sick, and then hybrids emerged. The show will follow the story of one such hybrid deer-boy who must find safe haven with his kind but has to travel a long way to do so. He teams up with a wandering loner for protection and they embark upon their epic journey.

Loki

One of the biggest streaming releases of June, Marvel’s Loki series, saw a brand new trailer wherein the god of mischief is seen getting booked at the Time Variance Authority, aka the TVA. He’s charged with disrupting the timeline and tasked with restoring order to it. The show hits Disney Plus on June 9, with a new episode every Wednesday.

Friends: The Reunion

Last week we saw the first teaser for the Friends reunion with the six buddies walking arm-in-arm. This week we got a little more than that. The one we’ve been waiting for is here. The new clip shows the cast walking onto the set of the cult sitcom 17 years after it ended. So many memories, so much emotion, and hopefully a whole lot of laughter.

But after becoming pregnant with a healthy baby girl, Lucy begins to notice something sinister through Hindle’s gleaming charm, and she sets out to uncover the unsettling truth about him, and her own “birth story.

No Sudden Move

This new HBO Max movie comes from Academy Award-winning director Steven Soderbergh and boy! does it have a cast to boast. The film takes place in 1954 Detroit and centers around a group of criminals hired to steal a document, only for their plan to go terribly wrong. Who’s in it? You get Don Cheadle, Ray Liotta, Jon Hamm, Amy Seimetz, Brendan Fraser, Julia Fox, Frankie Shaw, and many more talented actors. The movie releases on July 1.
