She Values Her Opinion Above All Others

“I’m not a flirty girl. On me, it doesn’t look right. I wear more of a harder, more structured [look],” the German stunner has said. “I think clothes show your personality — you know you love color and you love having fun, and I can see that when you walk in the door. It doesn’t mean that you’re not serious, but it means that you’re serious and you like to have some fun, too. And I like to show that in my clothes — that I’m fearless, that I don’t always care what people think [about] what I personally wear.”

She Believes in Eating Right

While exercise is certainly important, the avid runner prioritizes fueling her body properly to stay in shape and feel her best. “For me, it’s more about food than exercising,” she told Vogue Australia. “I’m not huge on carbs, even though that’s probably one of my favorite foods – French fries, pasta, all that stuff.” Instead, she loads up on protein, fruits and veggies. But, rest assured, even supermodels indulge in the occasional piece of chocolate (preferably, 70% cocoa dark chocolate).

She Values Her Body

In an interview with Showbiz Spy in 2004, Klum copped to insuring her famous legs (her right for $1.2 million and left for $1 million): “Basically, I was in London, and I had to go to this place where they check out your legs. They would look at them and I had one scar (on her left leg) from when I fell on a glass, so this one isn’t as pricey.”

She Goes the Extra Mile

To maintain her supermodel physique, the mom of four told Glamour that she likes to “pretend it’s bikini season all year” to keep herself motivated. “My favorite workout is a long run along the Westside Highway, which stretches along the Hudson River in New York City,” she shared. “You see the same people running every morning, and they inspire me to keep going. That and knowing there is a Starbucks coffee at the end of the route.”

She’s Low-Maintenance

The 5-foot-9 stunner tells Stylish that, when it comes to beauty, she likes to keep things simple. “If you look in my bathroom, I don’t have 10,000 products. I’m very easy — if I like it and it works, I stick with it,” she said. Among her must-haves: Mario Badescu’s Buttermilk Moisturizer and Sally Hansen’s Airbrush Legs Makeup, which she admits to applying “every time I’m wearing something short!”
