  • Renders of the Google Pixel 6 have leaked.
  • The refreshed, dual-tone design of the phone resembles that of the Pro model.
  • However, the phone features one less camera and has a slightly smaller display.

The Google Pixel 6 Pro renders leaked just a while back and now we also have renders and some spec information about the standard Pixel 6. Coming once again courtesy of reliable leaker OnLeaks (via 91Mobiles), the latest Pixel 6 leak offers us our best look yet at the phone and also reveals some firsts coming to the Pixel line.

To start with, the vanilla Google Pixel 6 could also sport a center punch-hole on the display (a first for the Pixel line), just like the Pixel 6 Pro previously depicted in leaked renders. The phone is said to have a 6.4-inch flat display instead of the curved OLED panel the Pixel 6 Pro might flaunt.

Another first-time Pixel feature could come in the form of an in-display fingerprint sensor on the phone. The leak also suggests that the Pixel 6 will feature wireless charging and bottom-firing speakers.

The unique camera design of the phone is similar to its elder sibling. However, the renders show two camera sensors on the Pixel 6 rather than the three that we saw on the Pro model. There’s no word on a periscope camera for the standard model, but our guess is it might skip the sensor.

The handset will roughly measure 158.6mm x 74.8mm x 8.9mm (11.8mm including rear camera bump). It’ll also feature USB-C charging at the bottom edge.

Unfortunately, the leak doesn’t provide any insights as to what’s happening under the hood. The Pixel 6 series is rumored to house a proprietary Google chip, but there’s no confirmation about this from any reliable sources. It’s also entirely possible that the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will feature flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs.

Nevertheless, the new design and features might just be exactly what the Pixel lineup needs to compete with premium phones from Samsung. What do you think? Leave us a line in the comments section.
